The incoming trio finalizes Wolves Esports’ starting five for the OFF//SEASON and the 2026 VCT season.
CHINA – Wolves Esports have finalized their roster for the 2026 VCT season with the additions of Wang “yosemite” Lei, Jordan “jowa” Wang, and Fei “Satoshi” Zhixian. The trio joins retained players Pong “SiuFatBB” Ka-hei and Liu “Spring” Chun-ting to complete the team’s starting five.
The new signings come as Wolves part ways with Liang “Lysoar” Youhao, Tyler “juicy” Aeria, and Huang “Yuicaw” Yung-chieh, with the latter already finding a new home in JDG Esports.

Yosemite makes the move after a challenging season with FunPlus Phoenix, where he weathered a turbulent 2025 campaign. The 24-year-old has built a reputation as a reliable and intelligent initiator with deep experience in both domestic and international tournaments. His move to Wolves reunites him with familiar roles once again stepping into the void left by Lysoar, just as he did during his tenure with FPX.
Perhaps regarded by many as the biggest gamble on the roster is Jordan “jowa” Wang, who will be making his first appearance in a tier-one league. The Canadian player previously spent two seasons competing in North America’s Challengers circuit notably with Turtle Troop and SaD Esports, where he showcased flexibility across roles particularly with initiator in recent times.
While he’s relatively untested in the VCT ecosystem, his potential firepower and agent pool upgrade could offer Wolves the versatility they lacked in certain compositions in 2025. His arrival also reflects a growing trend of import moves from North America to China, as more VCT CN teams start seeking out Chinese-speaking talent from abroad such as TEC with Lu “lucas” Yunkun, All Gamers with Delbert “deLb” Tanoto, Bilibili Gaming with Marcus “nephh” Tan, and more.

Rounding out the trio is Fei “Satoshi” Zhixian, a promising duelist talent who has impressed in China’s tier-two circuit over the past year with Xi Lai Gaming and Rare Atom.
The new additions follow a roller-coaster year for Wolves Esports, one that saw the team exceed expectations with a breakout top-three finish at VALORANT Masters Toronto, before crashing out of Stage 2 in last place amid struggles to regain momentum after a hectic period.
Speaking on the YAP2ASIA podcast, head coach Hoc Wah “Fayde” Chong reflected on the team’s 2025 campaign, noting that their primary goal of securing a top-four finish had been accomplished in Stage 1.
Looking ahead, however, Fayde emphasized that consistency will be the central focus for 2026, with the ultimate ambition being to qualify for VALORANT Champions Shanghai, which would see the team represent their home crowd on the world stage. He added that Wolves went through “a lot of names” during the offseason before locking in what he described as “the right guys” for the year ahead.
The new Wolves lineup will make their first appearance this weekend (November 8–9) at the 2025 TEN VALORANT Global Invitational in Asan, South Korea, competing alongside DRX, Team Heretics, and Nongshim RedForce.
