YOU are now officially a member of XLG Esports and will compete in the 2025 VCT CN season in Shanghai.
CHINA – XLG Esports (Xi Lai Gaming) have announced the signing of Yip “YOU” Man-Ho. The 25-year-old will make his return to the VCT CN League with the champions of the 2024 Ascension CN after leaving Trace Esports in June. Prior to this signing, he plied his trade for Trace Esports and Totoro Gaming before parting ways after VCT CN Stage 1. Most recently, he was with ZY Gaming during VCT Ascension CN.
YOU will be stepping into the position left vacant by Savva “Kr1stal” Fedorov, who officially departed the team after XLG’s victory at VCT Ascension CN. This move was necessitated by the one-import rule in the tier-one scene, which the team had discussed beforehand in the event of winning Ascension.

Before joining XLG, YOU spent four seasons with the core of Totoro Gaming, which was recently acquired by Trace Esports in late 2023. At one point in 2021, Totoro Gaming were regarded as China’s best team until a major reshuffle in the region that also involved EDward Gaming. In the inaugural year of VCT CN, Trace Esports reached the semi-finals at Kickoff and finished fourth in Stage 1.
YOU has already made his debut with XLG at the WALL-E Cup, where the team finished in third place, losing twice to the eventual champions, Wolves Esports, but securing victories against JDG Esports, Dragon Ranger Gaming, and All Gamers.
Their next challenge is this week at the FGC VALORANT Invitational, where they’ll face Dragon Ranger Gaming and could go on to play Bilibili Gaming if they advance.
