The Malaysian is expected to make his first official debut with Action PH in Kings of PH 2022.
MALAYSIA — Action PH have finalized the signing of former Todak and Kingsmen member Mathanraj “theDoctorr” Munisparan, the Filipino organization announced on Wednesday. Therefore, the team now has an import player from MY/SG competing with them, similar to Zeal Esports, who just acquired Dominic “Kimmy” Lee last week.
After stepping down from Malaysia’s Kingsmen in mid-March, theDoctorr was left without a team, and this shift to the PH circuit has allowed him to return to action quickly.

The Controller player spent the second half of last year with Kingsmen after leaving Todak in March 2021. Throughout the eight months he spent on the active roster of Kingsmen, he secured a number of top finishes, particularly nearing the end of his stint, including placing second in the Zotac Cup, the Bleed eSports Christmas Showdown, and the VCT MY/SG Stage 3 Challengers 3 Playoffs.
In VCT APAC Stage 1 Challengers, Action PH were considered one of the Philippines’ best shots to contend with international opposition, but the absence of modeskiii and the seeding alongside ONIC G and XERXIA Esports in the Play-In stage made the road far more challenging for the relatively young team.
Following the departure of two of its primary players in Matthew “modeskiii” Bautista and Jm “sirodeathyo” Ignacio after VCT APAC Stage 1 Challengers ended, theDoctorr is now tasked with putting the team back in a much stronger position to contend for titles. Besides the Malaysian player signing, Franc “ABATMAN” Mejia has now become a regular player for the team after joining as a stand-in for the team in the aforementioned tournament, replacing modeskiii.
Action PH are set to make their debut in the Kings of PH 2022 Group Stage against Bren Esports on Sunday at 16:00 SGT.
With the addition of theDoctorr, Action PH now boasts the following lineup:
