DSG are looking to form a new team in APAC, featuring former Bleed Esports duelist Tyler “juicy” Aeria, according to a report.
MALAYSIA/SINGAPORE – Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang-owned esports organization Disguised is set to enter the APAC VALORANT scene with the formation of a new roster, as reported by Tanmay.
The upcoming venture for Challengers MY/SG reportedly will feature high-profile names such as former Bleed Esports trio Tyler “juicy” Aeria, Jorell “Retla” Teo, and Jia Heng “JayH” Wong. Furthermore, the lineup includes former Ninjas in Pyjamas member Bryce “bryce” Lee and current Team Path member Sirajul “Riza” Azrie, who previously played together under the Kizuna Esports banner in the last season.
Team Path’s recent announcement for VCT 2024 did not include Riza, and Retla is scheduled to finish his National Service and reach the Operationally Ready Date (ORD) this week.

The rumored coaching staff for the new Disguised team includes former BIG and cowana gaming player from Germany, Alexander “alexRr” Frisch, along with former DSG GC support staff Chris “chrisyong” Yong. The report is strengthened by alexRr renaming his account with a DSG team tag, and all the mentioned players except juicy are registered under the pseudonym “Roblox Raiders” for the upcoming Challengers MY/SG Split 1.
Nevertheless, it has come to light that beyond the names initially reported, Wayne “wayne” Chang had been spotted playing with the reported DSG roster in a scrim suggested to be a trial with a notable Thai Challengers team in the absence of juicy. The former X10 Esports and Kizuna Esports player has been officially registered as part of the roster on the Battlefy registration platform, while juicy is nowhere to be seen, adding more speculation to the final composition.
Disguised Toast is no stranger to the APAC region, as he spent his early years in Malaysia before relocating to Canada when his older brother began attending university.
Disguised only recently announced the release of their Game Changers roster featuring Katherine “Katarina” Patrone, revealing that they “do not feel comfortable investing more into the scene as it exists today” after a cheating issue in a qualifying tournament for the end-of-year Game Changers Championship event done by their opponent. The content creator-owned organization has also been left without a male roster following the departure of Joshua “steel” Nissan and co. in the middle of last year.
