Ex-TALON coach Yuttanagorn “Zeus” Kaewkongyai rounds out Team NKT’s lineup as they kick off their 2024 season in Challengers Thailand.
THAILAND – Team NKT have announced that former Talon Esports coach Yuttanagorn “Zeus” Kaewkongyai will be taking over the coaching position moving forward as the team gears up for the upcoming 2024 Challengers Thailand season.
This decision follows a month after coach Sattawut “Leaf” Reathong returned to MiTH following a three-month away with the black-and-red banner, during which NKT achieved their most significant successes with first-place finishes at Predator League Thailand and ESL Clash of Nations.
Zeus is best known primarily for his tenure behind Thailand’s top-performing roster, which achieved considerable success in the APAC region under banners like X10 Esports, X10 CRIT, XERXIA, and most recently, Talon Esports. Under his leadership, the team participated in six international events, reaching their pinnacle at VALORANT Champions Berlin in 2021 when they secured a playoff appearance by defeating Team Envy and Keyd Stars.

However, his stint with Talon Esports concluded at the end of the first season of VCT Pacific, where the all-Thai roster finished near the bottom, only surpassing the winless DetonatioN FocusMe and failing to secure a single win in the LCQ. The move to Team NKT will mark Zeus’ first time occupying a head coaching role outside of the core led by Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut.
With a new tactician behind them, Team NKT will be hoping to go even further and maintain their form and momentum after a fruitful OFF//SEASON period.
Team NKT made their inaugural appearance under Zeus’ leadership in the 2024 APAC Predator League. Unfortunately, the outcome was disheartening, with the team experiencing defeats against both BOOM Esports and ZOL Esports in the first best-of-one encounters as well as in a closely contested match against Bangladeshi side Exceeli Esports.
Following Zeus’ addition, Team NKT are:
- 🇹🇭 Natdanai “SoCoolSoDa” Chaibun
- 🇹🇭 Teerapong “Teerapong” Wongsirisuponchai
- 🇹🇭 Kittikawin “Laz” Musikgo
- 🇹🇭 Phoomphat “qqGOD” Phojjanart
- 🇹🇭 Rujipoom “JAIGRAYRAY” Changkrut
- 🇹🇭 Yuttanagorn “Zeus” Kaewkongyai (Coach)
