The Game Changers category at The VALO2ASIA Awards has been expanded to the Top Five Players in 2023.
SINGAPORE – VALO2ASIA is pleased to announce an update to the Game Changers category at The VALO2ASIA Awards, now recognizing the top five players, expanding from the previous three. This change takes effect with the 3rd VALO2ASIA Awards in 2023.
We’re also adding a personal touch. To honor the best of the best, the top five players will receive medals. And to make it even more special: each medal will be engraved with the player’s ID and name.

“From the very start, VALO2ASIA has been all about pushing the Asian VALORANT scene forward, including empowering women within the Game Changers circuit. We continuously strive for equitable representation, ensuring that Game Changers receives the same level of visibility as the primary VCT circuit and giving players a place to stand out.
Last year, we took a big leap by introducing the Game Changers category in our annual awards for the first time. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening the Asian VALORANT community and creating an inclusive environment that recognizes the achievements of underrepresented groups in gaming. This category quickly garnered attention, and it didn’t take us long to realize that we should further expand its scope.
What’s next?
Our regular coverage of Game Changers news, interviews, and features is set to continue and expand. But we’re not stopping there.
Looking ahead to the coming year, we are actively exploring opportunities to include Game Changers East Asia, which consists of Japan, Korea, and China. We aspire to make next year the inaugural year of East Asia’s integration into our awards program. We believe that there is much to discover about these regions to enable our Panel of Judges to make a thorough and precise assessment.
