Riley “witz” Go and Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan find a way back to each other after a year apart, now under the Oasis Gaming banner.
PHILIPPINES – Oasis Gaming have announced the signing of Riley “witz” Go to their roster. The former Team Secret and NAOS Esports player will step into the shoes of Jed “Drax” Jamir, concluding Drax’s 16-month tenure as an in-game leader for OAG.
witz reunites with Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan, with whom he played in Bren Esports and Team Secret during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Their biggest success together was qualifying for VALORANT Champions Berlin in 2021, where they finished in the 5-8th place bracket.
Since his departure from TS in late 2022, witz spent last year as the in-game leader for NAOS Esports, leading the team to victories in both VALORANT Challengers Philippines Split 1 and 2 and securing a spot at VCT Ascension Pacific 2023. At the Bangkok event, witz and Oasis Gaming represented the Philippines and reached the semi-finals. However, the 29-year-old had been on the sidelines since he was moved to the bench in February alongside Jon Michael “Tesseract” Piga, without playing a single game this year.

The experience gained from witz’s addition will be more than welcome for Oasis Gaming, as they hope to rebound from a poor start to the season. The Filipino team exited early in the playoffs of VALORANT Challengers Philippines Split 1, finishing 5-6th—marking the organization’s worst domestic VCT result since 2021.
witz was already spotted playing with Oasis Gaming during the Promotion/Relegation stage of VALORANT Challengers Philippines, where they successfully avoided relegation. Their upcoming campaign will be a very important one, as the victor of VALORANT Challengers Philippines Split 2 will represent the Philippines at this year’s VCT Ascension Pacific in Tokyo, Japan.
With the arrival of witz, Oasis Gaming now have:
