The move towards building what is essentially an academy squad will see the Indian organization work with young players who could potentially break into the region’s tier-one circuit in the future.
INDIA – Global Esports have revealed their newest initiative, named GE Fighting Academy, which aims to provide up-and-coming Indian VALORANT players with the support needed to begin their path to becoming professionals.
The Mumbai-based organization is set to back the project by providing facilities, resources, and training to equip promising talent in India with the appropriate infrastructure and skill sets needed to progress in the scene and beyond. However, monetary compensation takes a backseat in the project, emphasizing instead the commitment participants must dedicate to the program for the next 12 to 18 months.

“All we need is your absolute dedication to your craft and we can assure both money and fame (pot of gold at the end of the rainbow) provided you put in the effort and live up to your end of the deal,” Rushindra Sinha, CEO and Founder of Global Esports stated on Twitter.
The initiative marks significant progress for Indian VALORANT, creating a new pipeline of homegrown talent and getting new players from the ground up without relying on other players from different regions—a trend more commonly seen in the South Asian circuit than in other parts of the APAC region.
Rushindra subsequently mentioned in another tweet that they received 1000 applications within 40 minutes, showcasing immense enthusiasm for this opportunity provided by one of India’s esports giants. Those interested can visit the Google Form website and complete the form, which requests basic information.
