The Indian superstar starts a new chapter in his career under the Revenant Esports banner.
INDIA – Revenant Esports have announced the blockbuster signing of former Global Esports member Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar, marking his return from the tier-one VCT Pacific circuit. The 26-year-old becomes the final piece of the organization’s roster and is set to play in the upcoming VALORANT Challengers South Asia circuit.
The acquisition of SkRossi marks the second instance where Revenant Esports have turned to the Indian roster of Global Esports for reinforcements, having also secured Jayanth “skillZ” Ramesh as part of their revamped team this season.
Hailed as the icon of Indian VALORANT, SkRossi had been loyal to a single team since shifting from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in October 2020, plying his trade for Global Esports. Over the past three years, he has been an instrumental figure in GE’s successful rise, clinching a plethora of domestic titles in South Asia and consistently standing as a representative for the region in APAC competitions, including in the 2021 APAC Last Chance Qualifier, as well as the 2022 APAC Challengers Stage 1 and 2.
One of SkRossi’s best individual showings came in the former event where he delivered a remarkable performance, dropping 31 kills and 294 ACS to push F4Q to the brink of defeat on Split.

SkRossi and Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury were the only two Indian players to stick around in the 2023 VCT season following the organization’s entrance into the Pacific League. However, after a year of mediocre performances in Seoul, the team saw fit to make changes to their lineup, seeing a near-complete overhaul from the inaugural VCT Pacific League composition.
“It’s been a challenging journey to reach this point, but my sole focus now is to work harder than ever before and embark on this new challenge with a brand new team,” SkRossi said in a press release. “I am super excited to be playing alongside the talented skillZ once again, and the rest of the lineup has been carefully crafted to complement our skills while ensuring we have what it takes to win.”
Revenant Esports will be hoping that their new recruit can be the spark in helping the side reach new heights and qualify for the upcoming Ascension Pacific competition. SkRossi and co. are set to make their debut in VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 1 Cup 1, set to take place from February 1 to March 10.
