The American coach becomes a permanent addition to Paper Rex’s coaching staff following his involvement at VALORANT Champions Paris.
SINGAPORE – Paper Rex have officially added Ashton “Wendler” Wendler to their coaching staff as assistant coach, where he will support head coach Alexandre “alecks” Sallé in the team’s tactical department and collaborate closely with performance coach Laijhun “Panda” Cheng.
The move formalizes Wendler’s continued involvement with the Pacific powerhouse after assisting PRX during their Champions Paris campaign alongside alecks, Panda, and Jacob “mini” Harris.
Head coach alecks expressed his confidence in the hire, saying, “Wendler has worked with coaches like Anderzz and JoshRT, as well as Mini, and gained experience in China. He brings fresh perspectives from different regions to help PRX adapt to the new meta. I’m excited to work with someone who combines genuine enthusiasm with valuable experience, and I’m confident he’ll help elevate our gameplay to push us further in 2026.”
