Bilibili Gaming, EDward Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, and Trace Esports are set to compete in the four-team invitational, the Shanghai Esports Masters 2025.
CHINA – The Shanghai Esports Masters will return in 2025 with another four-team VALORANT invitational. The event is confirmed for December 4–5 at the Jing’an Sports Center, the same venue used in 2024.
Organized by CCTV Shanghai and the Shanghai Sports Bureau, this year’s edition will see four Chinese representatives compete: Bilibili Gaming, EDward Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, and Trace Esports. EDG will be making their second appearance after an early exit in last year’s tournament.

The two-day event will feature a single-elimination bracket, with both semi-finals played on Day 1 and a best-of-five grand final on Day 2. Wolves Esports claimed the 2024 title after sweeping Xi Lai Gaming 3–0 in the grand final.
As with past editions, the 2025 event will feature more than just VALORANT, including Overwatch, Identity V, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Thursday, December 4:
- 15:00 GMT+8 // BO3 FPX vs. TE
- 19:00 GMT+8 // BO3 EDG vs. BLG
Friday, December 5:
- 18:00 GMT+8 // BO5 Grand Finals
