In anticipation of the upcoming season in the Philippines, a new squad known as Valhalla have emerged spearheaded by former RRQ players EJAY and Emman.
PHILIPPINES – Former RRQ duo Eroll Jule “EJAY” Delfin and Emmanuel “Emman” Morales have teamed up with three other notable Filipino players to form a new roster for the upcoming Challengers Philippines season.
The two former VCT Pacific players have joined forces once more in a new project called Valhalla after a season away with Rex Regum Qeon who finished seventh in Seoul.
Joining them will be George “Georggyyy” Lachica, who most recently plied his trade for Oasis Gaming and managed to secure two runners-ups in the 2023 Challengers Philippines season, both times falling short against NAOS Esports—one of whose players will also join this project. In addition, Georggyyy is now reunited with Emman after both were part of the Dream Fyre and Galaxy Racer banners throughout the 2021 season.

Jerome “Mojer” Literal will assume the duelist role in this team after a full year with NAOS Esports, where his first international debut at VCT Ascension Pacific ended with a semi-final appearance. A surprising twist sees that EJAY, known as a primary duelist player including during his time in RRQ, will now step into the controller role for Valhalla despite having no recorded history of playing the role in officials.
Yousef Imad “Hotsauz” El-Yousef is another high-profile name, having represented Bren Esports throughout the entirety of the 2022 season. This move also brings Hotsauz back together with EJAY, with whom he previously played in the aforementioned team.
Despite announcing his exit from VALORANT in August of that year, Hotsauz made a comeback in the subsequent 2023 season with Enrico “Ching” Perez’s Rambutan Ni Tatay (RNT) in Challengers Philippines Split 2, where he emerged as the team’s top-performing player.
The new roster is currently looking for an organization to represent and interested parties can reach out to them for further details at [email protected]. Until they find organizational backing, they will be playing under the banner of Valhalla.
