The Filipino Duelist is no longer in the organization’s plans going into the new season.
PHILIPPINES – Rex Regum Qeon have said their farewells to Eroll Jule “EJAY” Delfin, bringing an end to the Filipino’s stint as a part of the RRQ roster that began in September 2022.
“It is with a heavy heart that I say thank you to Team Rex Regum Qeon,” EJAY shared on Twitter. “Our journey together has been unforgettable, filled with highs and lows. I am grateful for the lessons, the friendships, and the memories. Farewell! You’ll always have a special place in my heart. To the fans and supporters of RRQ. Thank you for hating me and believing me it made me the person who I am today.”

The Duelist’s departure comes during a time of change in Rex Regum Qeon, where the Jakarta-based organization has bid farewell to Emmanuel “Emman” Morales and welcomed former Dplus KIA star, Park “Estrella” Gun. James “2ge” Goopio now stands as the sole remaining player from the initial RRQ Philippines lineup that was established before the VCT partnership period.
In the 2022 season, EJAY found some success in regional PH competitions under the RRQ banner, lifting a silverware in the Predator League Philippines tournament and participating in VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers, despite the team ultimately finishing in 9-12th place. He was then retained for the following season, seeing him as a part of RRQ’s campaign in São Paulo and Seoul.
EJAY concluded his time in Rex Regum Qeon with a seventh-place finish in the Pacific League and subsequently a respectable fourth-place finish in the Last Chance Qualifier.
“EJAY is one of the hardest working and most determined players I’ve had the pleasure to work with so I have no doubt he will bring all of that into his next team. Thanks for being our hype man and our very own LORD EJAY. Love you brother, all the very best. See you soon,” coach Marthinus “Ewok” Walt commented on EJAY’s departure.
Before further changes, RRQ are currently:
- 🇮🇩 Hagai “Lmemore” Tewuh
- 🇮🇩 Saibani “fl1pzjder” Rahmad
- 🇮🇩 David “xffero” Monangin
- 🇵🇭 James “2ge” Goopio
- 🇰🇷 Park “Estrella” Gun
- 🇿🇦 Marthinus “Ewok” Walt (Head coach)
