The duo will be allowed to explore new opportunities outside of the Filipino squad, ending their 25-month and 17-month stints, respectively, in the active lineup.
PHILIPPINES – Team Secret, which has been accepted into the partnered league, is shaking things up with some roster changes for a fresh start ahead of next year’s VCT Pacific league. Kevin “Dispenser” Te and Riley “witz” Go have been moved to the bench of Team Secret and transfer listed, the players revealed on Twitter. Team Secret are now down to three longtime members, Jessie “JessieVash” Cristy Cuyco, Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan, and Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza, as well as their latest recruit and most productive player in the firepower department, Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera.
The two changes in Team Secret come after a rocky season that culminated with a respectable fourth-place finish in the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier following wins over Made in Thailand and ORDER, but had more lows than highs overall.

Dispenser became a founding member of the squad when they came together in August of 2020 under Bren Esports. Soon after, witz was called up after playing for a mixed Thai-Filipino lineup in MiTH to replace trial player Marvin “whoME” Roque in what would later on become a solid starting five until the conclusion of this year’s circuit season.
After having a huge success in 2021, winning almost all of the VCT Philippines events that year, the squad departed from Bren Esports after missing out on competing at Masters 3 in Berlin, Germany due to visa issues. Team Secret became their new home, in which they reached an all-time high during the honeymoon period, making it to the quarter-finals of last year’s most renowned tournament, VALORANT Champions.
However, after the ascent, they sank to an all-time low the following year after failing to impress in VCT Philippines Stage 1 Challengers, where their playoff run was cut short by South Built Esports and Oasis Gaming. This was the lineup’s lowest point since they began playing together, missing on a SEA-level VCT tournament for the first time in over two years — a trend they bucked to return by performing well in VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers and the Last Chance Qualifier.
“I want to say thank you for supporting me throughout my career. You guys made a difference in my life and for that I am forever grateful!” Dispenser stated on Facebook, adding that he is willing to relocate and fully commit.
“I just want to thank everyone who supported me and is still continuing to support me! I also believe that this is not the end just yet but the start of something greater because this time I can show my full potential with pure motivation and genuine passion without any negativities.” witz wrote in a Twitlonger.

Team Secret are set to travel to Sao Paulo to compete in the kickoff tournament, scheduled to play out from February 14, 2023, to March 5. The starting lineup has yet to be determined, at least until a soft roster lock next month.
