Team Big BAAM have dropped their team, with the players going their separate ways, the Vietnamese organization has announced on Facebook.
VIETNAM – The disbandment comes only one week after the conclusion of VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers, in which Team Big BAAM ended in last place after suffering losses to Rex Regum Qeon and Taiwan’s Ghetto Artist in the Play-In stage.
A household name from Vietnam, Team Big BAAM had fielded some of the country’s most decorated players even prior to the rebranding from Steal Your Glory in July last year, emphasizing themselves not only as an esports organization but as a place where players can further their careers.
In its farewell statement, the organization also highlighted some of its former players who have crossed borders and represent other notable teams, including Ngô “crazyguy” Công Anh, who now plays for Nigma Galaxy, as well as Phạm “d0rf” Huỳnh Toàn Quốc and Phan “gin” Văn Gin at Alpha Esports Pro — the latter came from OK, a sister team of Team Big BAAM.

“A year may not be a long time for many people but it is enough for Big BAAM to prove its presence in the history of VALORANT Vietnam.” the announcement reads.
The core of the Team Big BAAM roster first came together in October 2020, rising to prominence after managing to secure several first-place finishes in local Vietnamese as well as a 4th place finish in the 2021 VCT Vietnam Stage 2 Challengers, the inaugural VCT event for the country. However, the peak for the team came in when they grabbed a 5–6th finish in the 2021 VCT Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
Despite multiple restructuring on its lineup and support staff throughout the year, Team Big BAAM were still able to maintain its presence on the top level of Vietnam, consistently placing third in two of the most recent VCT Stages. The following players have gone their separate ways, with Phạm “d0rf” Huỳnh Toàn Quốc most recently spotted playing with Alpha Esports Pro in the BLEED Summer Open alongside compatriot Phan “gin” Văn Gin.
Team Big BAAM were:
- 🇻🇳 Nguyễn “P1nA2k4” Nam
- 🇻🇳 Phạm “d0rf” Huỳnh Toàn Quốc
- 🇻🇳 Nguyễn “nTK” Tuấn Kiệt
- 🇻🇳 Trần “Mowf” Đức Minh
- 🇻🇳 Nguyễn “Nhatthong2k” Nhất Thống
- 🇻🇳 Hoàng “Vizzz” Việt (Substitute)
