Eleven teams will compete at VCT Pacific KICKOFF for two VALORANT Masters Madrid spots from February 17 until the grand final on February 25.
SOUTH KOREA – The VCT Pacific KICKOFF event will inaugurate the 2024 season for the region’s top eleven teams in Seoul.
This time, the tier-one league sees expansion with Bleed Esports joining for the next two seasons after their victory at Ascension Pacific in Bangkok last year. It will also be an early litmus test to see how the OFF//SEASON transfer market has impacted every team from last season, with massive overhauls seen in teams such as DetonatioN FocusMe, Gen.G, Global Esports, Talon Esports, and T1.
- Group Stage (February 17-21)
- Matches on February 17, 19, and 21 start at 2 PM SGT
- Matches on February 18 and 20 start at 4 PM SGT
- Play-Ins (February 22)
- Matches to start at 2 PM SGT
- Playoffs (February 24-25)
- Matches to start at 4 PM SGT
Taking place in S FACTORY, Seongsu-Dong, Seoul, the eleven teams have been split into three GSL groups of four with the exception of three teams in Group C which is headlined by reigning Pacific champions Paper Rex. It will play out on February 17-21 in a double-elimination, best-of-three format, with the top team from each group advancing directly to the playoffs.
Teams finishing in second place in each group will get another opportunity to advance to the playoffs through the Play-Ins scheduled for February 22. In this phase, they will compete in a single round-robin format to determine the fourth and final team joining the playoffs on February 24-25. Qualification to VALORANT Masters Madrid awaits the top two teams emerging from the playoffs.
