VALO2ASIA Awards 2024 – Top 5 Pacific Challengers of the Year
Let’s not forget where it all begins. In VALORANT, many of the stars we watch today had their beginnings in the Challengers League—the proving ground for the next generation of talent. That’s why we’re bringing back another fan-favorite category: Top 5 Challengers of the Year.
In 2024, we watched over 40 teams fight their way from Premier into Challengers, with three of them making it all the way through Ascension. Out of those, Sin Prisa Gaming from Korea made history by earning their spot in VCT Pacific for 2025. It’s incredible to see a team climb all the way as a 5-stack, but that’s not the only path players are taking.
For some, Challengers is more than just a league—it’s their chance to shine. This year, over 60 players, making up 38% of everyone competing at International Leagues, were playing in Challengers just last year. It’s proof that the road to the top isn’t one-size-fits-all—whether as a team or as individuals, the journey starts here.
