It’s that time of the year again for The VALO2ASIA Awards!
Every season, we witness unforgettable moments, breakout stars, and jaw-dropping plays that define the year in Pacific & CN VALORANT. The VALO2ASIA Awards are our way of celebrating those who rose above the rest, leaving their mark on the game and the fans alike.
Introducing, The VALO2ASIA Awards 2024, brought to you by Corsair!
In 2024, we’re featuring three exciting categories, and here’s how it all comes together: a diverse panel of 34 judges—made up of those who’ve followed every step of the Challengers League, Game Changers, Ascension, and VCT Pacific & CN—has cast their votes to build a definitive list of the best players in the region. Each judge brings their unique perspective, and together, they paint a picture of what made this season truly special.
We also want to thank Corsair for their support in bringing the 2024 VALO2ASIA Awards to fruition!
Juandi, Editorial at VALO2ASIA, commented: “Behind every name on the list is a story: the late-night scrims, the crushing losses, the impossible comebacks, and the moments that made us all believe in something bigger. This is our way of saying, ‘We see you, and we’re proud.’ It’s not just about who takes the top spot; it’s about coming together as a community and honoring the journey we’ve all been on this year. As VALORANT nears its fifth year, this is for everyone who’s been part of this wild, amazing ride.”

And for the first time ever, we’re handing you a seat at the table. Yes, you. The community will act as the 25th judge, with every vote you cast contributing to a collective voice that counts as one crucial public vote in the final rankings. This is your chance to champion your favorites, highlight their brilliance, and help decide who makes it to the top.
Recognition should be more than a title—it should be something tangible, something timeless. That’s why, this year, every player who makes it into the Top 20 will receive a custom medal.
Each one will be engraved with the player’s name on the front and the names of every panelist who made this list possible on the back. Whether they’re handed over in person at events or carefully shipped across the region, these medals carry with them the weight of the season and the acknowledgment of the entire community.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of one of our most cherished categories—Game Changers of the Year. But this time, it’s not just back; it’s bigger than ever.
This year, the spotlight expands to includes Japan, Korea, Oceania, and South Asia, all of which now fall under the Pacific umbrella. These regions have brought fresh talent, incredible stories, and unforgettable moments to the Game Changers scene, and it’s time they take their place in the spotlight.
2024 was a groundbreaking year for Game Changers in APAC. For the first time ever, the region celebrated its first LAN event in Bangkok, Thailand, giving players, teams, and fans a chance to experience the energy and magic of live competition. It was a milestone for the community, and with next year already looking promising, we’re more excited than ever about the future of Game Changers.
To ensure that this category is as authentic and representative as possible, we’ve assembled a separate Panel of Judges specifically for Game Changers. These five judges aren’t just experts—they’re deeply connected to the Game Changers community, having followed its journey closely throughout the season. Their insights and dedication ensure that the final rankings genuinely reflect the spirit and excellence of the players they’re honoring.
As with our other categories, we’re keeping the tradition alive by awarding custom medals to all five nominated players. Each medal is a symbol of their incredible achievements, engraved with their name on the front and the names of the panelists who helped bring this list to life on the back. It’s more than just an award; it’s a keepsake that celebrates their place in history.

Rising to the top always begins at the grassroots, and the Top 5 Pacific Challengers of the Year category is here to honor those who’ve fought tooth and nail to carve their place in the VCT.
From Premier to Challengers to the grand stage of Ascension, these players have battled through some of the fiercest competition, standing out among hundreds—if not thousands—of their peers. This category shines a light on those who may not yet be household names but have already proven their potential to dominate the future of the game.
To ensure that the Top 5 truly reflects the spirit of the Challengers scene, we’ve brought together a dedicated Panel of Judges for this category. These experts have followed the Pacific Challengers scene from the very start, witnessing the highs and lows, and some also were on the ground at VCT Ascension Pacific in Jakarta to see history unfold live.
As with the Game Changers category, we’re continuing the tradition of awarding custom medals to all five nominated players.
