VALO2ASIA Awards 2024 – Top 5 Pacific Game Changers of the Year
The VALO2ASIA Awards also highlight some of the most talented female players in the scene with our returning category: the Top 5 Game Changers of the Year! These amazing players have not only broken barriers but also inspired countless others along the way.
From the start, growing the Game Changers scene has been one of our biggest goals at VALO2ASIA. This year felt really special with the launch of the Pacific circuit, bringing together five sub-leagues under one roof. It’s been a year of milestones and unforgettable moments—the former Team SMG roster now under the Xipto Esports banner making their return to the international stage, and ZETA DIVISION GC lighting up the competition with their energy and passion, drawing fans back into the fold after the Championship.
Then, just when we thought the year couldn’t get any better, Ava “florescent” Eugene from Shopify Rebellion in North America made history. She became the first-ever Game Changers player to join a tier-one VALORANT team, signing with Apeks for the next VCT EMEA season. This moment is exactly what Game Changers is all about—giving players a chance to grow, get noticed, and make it to the top.
As we close out the year, we can’t help but dream of what’s next. The first Pacific Game Changers player reaching tier-one feels closer than ever—and we’re here for it.
