Two more VCT Game Changers APAC Elite spots are yet to be filled.
Orangutan Female, ZOL Meraki, and Nigma Galaxy Female now join the list of teams competing in the US$35,000 VCT Game Changers APAC Elite, which will be happening on October 1-9, with the three teams advancing through the Overtime stage.
Eight teams ranked fourth through eleventh in the Open circuit had another chance to qualify for the APAC Elite tournament by competing in a best-of-three, double-elimination bracket. Among the teams eligible to compete in the Overtime stage were X10 Sapphire, Nigma Galaxy Female, BIG SCYTHE, ZOL Meraki, and Orangutan Female.

With Overtime being granted two spots, the bracket saw the general favorites advance unhindered. Orangutan Female were the first team to qualify, with the international team first dispatching Thirst Red and Asteria, and then beating X10 Sapphire in the upper bracket semi-final on their way to securing a place in the Elite tournament. ZOL Meraki, on the other side of the bracket, defeated ALK Amethyst, Nigma Galaxy Female, and L Streaks en route to qualification.
After being defeated by ZOL Meraki early on, Nigma Galaxy Female were able to survive a lower bracket run, taking down the likes of Hero Zero KDA, Armory Aresta, X10 Sapphire, as well as L Streaks in a tightly-contested series that went all five maps in the lower bracket final.
