Talon Esports will not bring Patiphan “Patiphan” Chaiwong to play ESL Clash of Nations this weekend.
THAILAND – Talon Esports will be fielding a roster without Patiphan “Patiphan” Chaiwong at ESL Clash of Nations 2023, according to a press material released by ESL and announcements on socials.
They will instead attend the Bangkok event with their latest three recruits and returning players Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut and Jittana “JitboyS” Nokngam. Furthermore, it is anticipated that additional information about the new support staff will be revealed along the way.
The ESL Clash of Nations 2023 event will be a debut for Peter “Governor” No in the Pacific region and his first experience in a tier-one team setting. Meanwhile, Joseph “ban” Seungmin Oh and Lionel “lenne” Lim are not new to this level of competition, having played with T1 and Team Secret respectively in the inaugural season of the VCT Pacific League – although the latter only served as a substitute for the Filipino side and participated in just one map.

It remains to be seen if Patiphan “Patiphan” Chaiwong acting as a substitute will be the permanent setup for Talon Esports as they head into the upcoming season.
Talon Esports have been drawn against FULL SENSE in the first round of ESL Clash of Nations 2023, pitting them against two of their former members in Panyawat “sushiboys” Subsiriroj and Itthirit “foxz” Ngamsaard.
Talon Esports will utilize the following lineup, without Patiphan, at ESL Clash of Nations 2023:
