A star-studded list featuring 18 names will bring you the action in the VALORANT Chinese broadcast for the upcoming season.
CHINA – VALORANT Esports CN recently revealed an additional set of new members that will be the voices of the official Chinese broadcast.
The process of handpicking these six new members, according to the announcement, involved a rigorous evaluation that spanned half a month in person at the “VALORANT Esports Official Commentary and Hosting Training Camp” event. Despite some of these talents having established reputations in other esports titles, they all experienced the same treatment selection process.
During this period, candidates went through rigorous assessments, demonstrating their fluency not just in Chinese but also in effectively communicating in English on stage.
Among the freshly appointed names who have joined the official VALORANT CN broadcast are the following:

Out of the initial 14 commentators and hosts chosen during the intensive closed-door training phase, the final selection was narrowed down to 11 following a thorough mid-term exam assessment. These 11 individuals were further assessed, ultimately resulting in the final selection of the aforementioned six.
The six newly selected individuals will join the previously announced 12 commentators and hosts who successfully passed the inaugural selection, becoming part of the official broadcast crew in May. Out of a staggering 500+ applicants, a mere 20 made the cut after a stringent three-stage selection process. From this group, 12 were handpicked as the official voices for VALORANT’s Chinese broadcast.
From the initial selection process in May, one of the chosen talents was Gai “Alan” Yandahan, who not only became part of the CN broadcast team but also served as a Panel Judge at the VALO2ASIA Awards 2023. In addition, He “Vivi” Yilian, another selected member, previously participated in the Game Changers circuit as a member of ShanXi Gaming Girls during which she represented China in the 2022 VCT Game Changers East Asia competition.
