We’ll find out which team capsules in VALORANT are the most popular, as Riot Games is set to unveil their rankings “very soon.”
UNITED STATES – Riot Games is set to release VALORANT team capsule rankings across international leagues, as revealed by Leo Faria, the Global Head of VALORANT Esports, during the VCT Americas KICKOFF. This means that fans will soon have insights into the popularity of each team capsule since its release on February 21, although the specific timing of the announcement remains unknown.
VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) team capsules allow fans to support their favorite teams through in-game purchases, with 50% of the profits from each team’s collection shared with teams throughout the 2024 season. These capsules include a Classic, a uniquely crafted Player Card designed in collaboration with the teams, and an exclusive Gun Buddy and Spray set.
“It’s been the best,” Leo expressed his enthusiasm during a brief chat with host Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez when questioned about the reception of the team capsule release. “We’ve been dreaming of doing this for a very long time, and it’s finally live. We’re giving fans the opportunity to support their teams and their favorite pros, and the reception has been amazing. Some of these teams have already beat their minimum guarantee for the entire year in two weeks, so very excited.”

Regarding the popularity of team capsules, Leo revealed that rankings for all leagues will be published “very soon.”
However, this also means that the rankings will be available only for the Americas, Pacific, and EMEA, as China has yet to release team capsules. Team-branded capsules for VCT CN will be rolled out at a later date due to the recent formation of the league, with the other three leagues having had the time to organize their cosmetics in advance.
“We are going to release rankings for all of the leagues very soon, so [it] should spark some fun competition.”
