A team of eleven will bring us the action live from the second Masters event of the year in Shanghai.
CHINA – Riot Games has announced the lineup of English talent that will be the voices of VALORANT Masters Shanghai to be held from May 23 to June 9.
The talent list features some of the scene’s most well-known names, including mainstay members of VCT Pacific broadcast Victoria “ChubbyNinja” Cheng, Mika “Mikafabs” Fabella, as well as iconic casting duo Seth “Achilios” King and Clinton “Paperthin” Bader to break down the action from the server.
Representing the Americas in Shanghai are Andrej “babybay” Francisty, Doug “EsportsDoug” Cortez, and Mimi “aEvilcat” Wermcrantz. EMEA’s Salome “Soe” Gschwind-Repp will make his first appearance on the main broadcast of an international VALORANT event, joined by familiar faces Yinsu “Yinsu” Collins and Beatriz “kaquka” Alonso on the desk.

However, VALORANT Masters Shanghai will miss some well-known names. Lauren “Pansy” Scott and Michael “hypoc” Robins, along with Brennon “Bren” Hook and Josh “Sideshow” Wilkinson, will be absent.
This will be the first international VALORANT event that Pansy-hypoc duo will miss since Masters Reykjavík in 2021, due to hypoc’s ongoing health issues. Joshua “steel” Nissan stepped in for much of the VCT EMEA season recently as Pansy’s duo, but with steel expected at another event during Shanghai, Pansy couldn’t find a viable replacement.
Meanwhile, Bren and Sideshow announced their personal decision not to attend, citing “other big plans in the works” and confirmed they won’t take a break during the Shanghai event.
VALORANT Masters Shanghai will run from May 23 to June 9, culminating in the final three days at the iconic Mercedes-Benz Arena. Twelve teams made their way through the regional stage, including Paper Rex, 100 Thieves, FNATIC, and home favorites EDward Gaming. A total prize pool of US$1,000,000 will also be available for the taking.
