The TEN VALORANT Asia Invitational is making a comeback in 2024, featuring Gen.G, DRX, FunPlus Phoenix, and Talon Esports.
SOUTH KOREA –The Busan Esports Arena has officially announced the 2024 TEN VALORANT Invitational, a four-team OFF//SEASON event set for October 26-27.
Much like the 2023 edition, this year’s tournament will be held in Busan at the Busan Esports Arena and will feature four teams. However, unlike last year’s global lineup, the 2024 edition will focus on teams from Asia, with three teams from the VCT Pacific League and one from the VCT CN League.
Gen.G and DRX will be the main attractions of the event as they debut their new rosters. The Masters Shanghai champions, Gen.G, have retained key players Kim “t3xture” Na-ra, Kim “Karon” Won-tae, and Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom. However, Kim “Lakia” Jong-min is likely still in contract negotiations, and Kim “Meteor” Tae-o has moved on to join T1.

Meanwhile, DRX will retain only Kim “MaKo” Myeong-kwan and Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk, while adding two promising Korean players—former Rare Atom player No “free1ng” Ha-jun and former Crest Gaming Zst player Song “HYUNMIN” Hyun-min. The final roster spot has yet to be confirmed, but rumors suggest that Na “Leviathan” Ha-Jun from DRX’s academy team may be promoted to complete the lineup.
Talon Esports are likely to stick with their existing roster, featuring Papaphat “Primmie” Sriprapha. They have already confirmed their starting five for another OFF//SEASON event happening a week earlier, the Red Bull Home Ground APAC Play-In.
As for FunPlus Phoenix, the final team on the list, Liang “Lysoar” Youhao has departed to join Wolves Esports, leaving an open spot in their roster that has yet to be filled.
The 2023 TEN VALORANT Global Invitational saw Cloud9 take home the lion’s share of the KR₩35,000,000 prize pool after defeating DRX in the grand final of the tournament, which also marks the debut of Flashback. EDward Gaming and T1 were also present.
The format for this year’s event hasn’t been confirmed yet, but with the tournament still spanning two days, it’s possible they’ll use the same unique structure as last year—featuring a BO1 single-round-robin bracket for seeding, followed by a king-of-the-hill playoff format on the second day.
The team list for TEN VALORANT Asia Invitational is as follows:
DRX | GEN |
TLN | FPX |
