XERXIA and Team NKT have opted to withdraw from VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 3 to compete in the Predator League Thailand Finals instead.
THAILAND – XERXIA and Team NKT have officially pulled out of VALORANT Challengers Southeast Asia (SEA) Split 3 due to scheduling conflicts, with Indonesia’s La Familia and The Overdogs stepping in as replacements.
The withdrawal comes as VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 3 Stage 1 overlaps with the Predator League Thailand 2025 Finals, held offline at Emsphere, Bangkok. By opting out of Challengers SEA Split 3, XERXIA and Team NKT will miss the opportunity to qualify for the 2025 VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 1 and a chance to compete for the US$75,000 prize pool.
A similar issue was raised by former Team Secret and Talon player Lionel “lenne” Lim, who spoke publicly about the scheduling conflict affecting IGNITE (formerly known as Bubblegun)’s decision to either compete in Split 3 or the Predator League Singapore.
UPDATE — IGNITE have reversed their decision and will withdraw from VALORANT Challengers Southeast Asia Split 3 to participate in Predator League Singapore instead. Base Beta Esports will take their place as the next in line from the Premier standings from Episode 9 Act 2.

La Familia, formerly known as MABUHAY, last competed together in VALORANT Challengers Indonesia Split 1. The team consists of familiar faces from the Challengers Indonesia scene, as they have all previously played together in various capacities. Retaining members Sergio “no1syboy” Rahardja, Rey “vascalizz” Pardede, and Rayhan “zhar” Azhar, they will also welcome former ARF Team player Nico “Nay” Alvanius and ex-Persija Esports player Vicky “Flynch” Rudyanto. La Familia will take over XERXIA’s slot in Group B, where they’ll compete alongside The MongolZ and IGNITE (Bubblegun).
On the flip side, The Overdogs have a lineup of relatively lesser-known players, including Alvin “vS” Susanto, who is also part of the Susanto family, just like Paper Rex’s Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto and T1’s Kevin “xccurate” Susanto. The Overdogs will take Team NKT’s spot in Group A, where they will face off against Kadiliman Esports and Chinggis Warriors.
The top team from each group will advance to Stage 2, where they will join notable teams like Fancy United Esports, FULL SENSE, ARF Team, and others in two GSL groups.
