The VCT Pacific team made full use of their direct invite and secured two flawless victories against La Familia and Alter Ego en route to their first-place finish.
INDONESIA – BOOM Esports have come out victorious from the 2025 Predator League Indonesia Finals after defeating Alter Ego 2-0 (Split 13-11, Pearl 13-4) in the grand finals.
BOOM, without Fikri “famouz” Zaki, received a direct invite to the main event and swiftly dispatched La Familia on their way to the finals. Due to prior commitments, famouz was temporarily replaced by Ryan “Lilo” Betrand, formerly of ARF Team and Bigetron Arctic, with recent addition Dastan “dos9” Zhumagali also arriving in Jakarta just a week before the event.
Alter Ego kicked off their journey in the Predator League Indonesia Finals as the only team directly invited to the final qualifier. They were joined by three other teams, BOOM Esports, Bigetron Arctic, and La Familia, who had battled their way up through the open qualifiers, which featured a wide range of squads from regional events held across 10 cities throughout Indonesia, along with online entries. Alter Ego remained undefeated on their path to the finals, securing victories in every series, including three matchups against Bigetron Arctic.
Rizkie “BerserX” Adla Kusuma finished as the highest-rated player at the event finals with a 1.44 rating averaged over four maps played.
Both BOOM Esports and Alter Ego will represent Indonesia at the highly anticipated 2025 APAC Predator League in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, set to take place from January 11-13, 2025.
The event will bring together top teams from across the Asia-Pacific region, with 14 other countries participating. Among them are Disguised, representing Singapore, ZOL Esports from the Philippines, Team NKT from Thailand, and other teams from the region.
