The VCT 2025 Season Capsule will feature a Karambit knife and regional-themed player cards & gun buddies.
Riot Games has officially announced the VCT 2025 Season Capsule, set to launch globally on February 7 at around 6 AM GMT+8 (Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines time). The capsule will be available in the VALORANT in-game store until the end of VCT Masters Bangkok on March 2.
The VCT 2025 Season Capsule includes:
- VCT Karambit: A sleek new melee weapon and the first-ever skin with five chromas, representing the four International Leagues and the VCT theme. At Level 3, top fraggers will see a special glow
- 4 Regional Player Cards: Animated designs that celebrate the identity of each International League
- 4 Gun Buddies: Reactive charms that represent each region and activate when fired, adding flair to every match

The melee, player card, and gun buddy will come in five different variants: green for EMEA, orange for Americas, blue for Pacific, red for China, and silver for the official VALORANT Champions Tour colorway in the melee.
Just like the VCT LOCK//IN Capsule, the VCT Season Capsule provides another avenue for fans to directly support the scene, with a portion of the revenue being shared among all partnered teams across the four International Leagues—Pacific, China, Americas, and EMEA. By purchasing the capsule, players contribute to the financial stability of the VCT, helping organizations invest in their rosters, infrastructure, and long-term growth while also repping their favorite international leagues in-game.
This further expands VALORANT’s in-game esports collection, complementing existing offerings such as the team capsules, which allow fans to represent their favorite squads, and the annual Champions collection, which celebrates the biggest event of the season with exclusive limited-time cosmetics.
“Our goal is to give fans multiple ways to support teams in the VCT and the introduction of the Season Capsule will provide an additional alternative to Team Capsules. Last year, we noticed that some teams benefited significantly more than others from Team Capsules, with the disparity being greater than expected at the extremes of the distribution curve.
The best-performing Team Capsules last year came from teams that won major global events or dominated regional fan bases. Since not all teams can enjoy the advantage of earning storefront placement after winning a Masters or Champions event, we wanted to create a product that raises the baseline for all competitors. In 2024, fans helped generate over $44 million USD for partnered teams through esports cosmetics and we hope to see similar success with the introduction of the Season Capsule.”
As of now, pricing for the VCT Season Capsule has not been officially disclosed. However, previous esports-themed collections may provide some indication of what to expect. The VCT LOCK//IN bundle was priced at 5,440 VP, the Champions collections have historically been set at 6,167 VP, and team bundles are available for 2,320 VP.
