The VALORANT Challengers regular season has concluded, locking in the six teams set to battle in the playoffs from February 12-16.
SOUTHEAST ASIA – The playoff bracket for VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 1 is now locked in, with six teams set to battle from February 12-16 for a share of the US$50,000 prize pool and crucial circuit points that contribute to qualification for the 2025 VCT Ascension Pacific.
KIMMY KITTENS (ex-DSG) and Z11 secured the top spots in their respective groups, earning a direct ticket to the upper-bracket semi-finals. They will face the winners of the two opening knockout matchups.
Z11 have emerged as the tournament’s biggest surprise, defying expectations by dominating Group B. The Thai underdogs secured major wins over ZOL Esports and reigning APAC Predator League champions Alter Ego, with their only setback coming in a close three-map series against domestic rivals TALON Academy.

Meanwhile, KIMMY KITTENS, formerly known as DSG, are competing without organizational backing for now. Their newest addition, John “JA” Arone from NAOS Esports, has stepped up to fill the gap left by Derrick “Deryeon” Yee’s move to Global Esports.
The first knockout round will see FULL SENSE take on ZOL Esports, followed by Alter Ego going head-to-head with NAOS Esports. The losers of these matchups will be eliminated, while the winners advance into the double-elimination bracket.
Academy squads RRQ Academy, TALON Academy, and Team Secret Academy failed to make the playoffs but are safe from relegation heading into Split 2. Meanwhile, Oblivion Force, ZOL Esports, Xipto Esports, and The MongolZ will compete in the Promotion/Relegation stage alongside eight additional teams from regional qualifiers and the Premier route.
The event will continue to be streamed exclusively on SOOP.
