The 2025 season of VALORANT Game Changers SEA is officially set to begin, with Split 1 kicking off this week! Here’s everything you need to know about the tournament.
SOUTHEAST ASIA – VALORANT Game Changers SEA returns this week with Split 1, running from March 12-16. The tournament will see eight of the best teams from the Southeast Asia region battle it out for a prize pool of US$10,000 and four coveted spots in Split 2’s Group Stage.
The participating teams emerged from an intense Swiss Stage, where 56 registered teams competed over six days to qualify for the playoffs. To compete in this exclusive female and marginalized gender tournament, players needed to have at least an Ascendant 1 rank in any VALORANT act.
Some of last season’s biggest names are back, including title favorites Falcons Vega (formerly Xipto Esports). The Saudi Arabian organization acquired SEA trio Alexandria “Alexy” Francisco, Odella “enerii” Abraham, and Camille “Kamiyu” Enriquez to join 2022 Game Changers world champion Maryam “Mary” Maher and IGL Modhi “madv” Alkanhal in their new journey transitioning from EMEA to Pacific.
SISU have also been acquired by UAE-based organization Ascend following their 3rd-4th place finish in last season’s Game Changers Pacific. Read more about the roster acquisition here.

A nostalgic reunion is happening under the MAD Army banner. Sarindhorn “JinNy” Wanothayarnchai, Chalita “Muffyn” Buathong, and Annitta “Alyssa” Peerwantanagul return to the SEA circuit after competing in China’s ALG GC and Killer Angel Girls ESC in 2024. They reunite with Pornlapat “babytz” Wittayanan to form the same core that made it to the inaugural Game Changers Championship in 2022.
Joining them are former Neons GC and invincible gc duo Waritsara “felce” Narong and Wanlapa “kitkatwc” Charoensuk.
FULL SENSE are also making their return to the Game Changers circuit with a relatively unknown Thai-majority roster. This lineup features a mix of new talent, including a rare appearance from a Laotian player, “Viz“.
Former SCYTHE and Alter Ego Celeste player Risalma “oreopheliaa” Agnia is making her return after a season-long hiatus. She joins forces with Daltha “crescents” Amellia and Samantha “Sampphire” Kotambunan to form an all-Indonesian roster under Precision Power Quickness.
Meanwhile, LILAX, ECHO Aura, and LUX GC are ready to challenge the competition and make a name for themselves.
This US$10,000 tournament will feature the top eight teams battling it out in a double-elimination bracket, with seeding determined by their performance in the Swiss stage. All matches will be played in a best-of-three format, except for the lower bracket final and grand final.

The top four teams will secure a direct spot in the Group Stage of VALORANT Game Changers Split 2, keeping their dreams alive for a shot at the VALORANT Game Changers Pacific tournament.
- 1st – US$3,500 + Qualify for Split 2 Group Stage
- 2nd – US$2,500 + Qualify for Split 2 Group Stage
- 3rd – US$1,500 + Qualify for Split 2 Group Stage

This circuit operates separately from the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT), with teams and players competing throughout the year for a shot at the VALORANT Game Changers Championship. The Pacific region will send two representatives, while China gets one slot, EMEA secures three, and the Americas hold four slots.
Shopify Rebellion remain the back-to-back champions from 2023 and 2024, with Ava “florescent” Eugene making history as the first Game Changers player to compete in tier-one VCT, now playing for Apeks in VCT EMEA.
