As the closed beta for VALORANT Mobile kicks off in China this June, Tencent has released the official system and device requirements to ensure smooth gameplay.
VALORANT Mobile was first officially announced in April 2025 during a reveal led by Anna Donlon, Global Studio Head, and Andy Ho, Global Executive Producer at Riot Games. The game is developed in partnership with Lightspeed Studios, the Tencent-owned developer behind other high-profile titles like PUBG Mobile.
The collaboration brings Riot’s popular 5v5 tactical shooter to mobile devices, aiming to offer the same precise gunplay and strategic team-based combat the PC version is known for. The first phase of this rollout will be a closed beta exclusive to China.
VALORANT Mobile will also make its esports debut shortly after, with the first official tournament scheduled for July 2025 in Qingdao, China, in collaboration with OnePlus.
