The former Gen.G and Bilibili Gaming coach is open to offers in both VCT CN and VCT Pacific.
CHINA – Bilibili Gaming have officially parted ways with head coach Lee “bail” Sung-jae, marking the end of his tenure that began in the 2024 season.
The news comes unexpectedly, as the team had shown steady progress under his leadership over the past two years. During the 2025 campaign, BLG were a constant threat domestically, finishing on the podium in every split and ultimately claiming the VCT CN Season Finals title over Dragon Ranger Gaming.
While their international campaigns in Seoul, Toronto, and Paris failed to deliver the results many had hoped for, bail’s guidance was instrumental in shaping Bilibili Gaming into one of China’s top contenders, managing to break free from the long-standing dominance of EDward Gaming and carving out their own identity as a powerhouse within the VCT CN ecosystem.

bail was first linked with BLG during the 2024 VCT CN Kickoff, where he appeared in a team vlog giving a pre-match speech before being officially confirmed as head coach. Working alongside assistant coach Wang “JeXeN” Linxiao, he guided the roster through a strong debut season that included qualification for VALORANT Champions 2024 in his home country of South Korea and a top-four domestic finish.
The 2025 season further highlighted the team’s great progression and growing maturity. They opened the year with a third-place finish at Kickoff, then built on that success with a runner-up placement in Stage 1, which secured invitations to both VALORANT Masters Toronto and the Esports World Cup. Their refinement throughout the year culminated in a championship win at the VCT CN Stage 2 Finals, also known as the Season Finals, granting them a well-earned spot at VALORANT Champions Paris.
That said, the gap between their domestic dominance and international results remains a night-and-day difference that still needs to be addressed for the 2026 season.

As of now, it remains unclear whether Bilibili Gaming will bring in another foreign coach for 2026 or turn to local talent, either by promoting JeXeN or Zhang “YaoXie” Jihang from within or recruiting another domestic coach to lead the team.
“I was worried a lot when I first came to the CN League, but with the support of the players, the staff, and our fans, those worries disappeared. I was happy for two years, and I hope you achieve your dreams. Thank you so much. I was a happy person. Thank you to the players, staff, and BLG fans,” bail said on Twitter.
Bilibili Gaming currently have:

- Lu “Levius” Yinzhong
- Marcus “nephh” Tan
- Wang “rushia” Xiaojie
- Wang “JeXeN” Linxiao (Coach)
