famouz will no longer play for BOOM Esports going into 2026.
INDONESIA – BOOM Esports and Fikri “famouz” Hamdani have gone their separate ways after a three-year association. The announcement comes after famouz’s recent appearance with Team Secret at the 2026 Predator League Philippines, though it is still unclear whether the Indonesian duelist will join the team permanently for the upcoming season.
famouz originally joined BOOM Esports on loan from Persija Esports for the 2022 APAC Last Chance Qualifier, where the team earned a spot at VALORANT Champions Istanbul. The 27-year-old was also involved in the well-known rope incident against OpTic, where Austin “crashies” Roberts secured an ace.

Following his permanent signing, famouz remained with BOOM over the next three seasons, helping the team qualify for Ascension twice and secure a spot in the 2025 VCT Pacific League after finishing second at Ascension Jakarta to replace Bleed Esports.
Their debut season in the tier-one league had its ups and downs, but Stage 1 stood out as BOOM went 5-0 in the group stage before bowing out early in playoffs. Individually, famouz delivered a standout performance, finishing the group stage with the highest ACS at 258.8 across 265 rounds and placing top ten in average VLR rating.
Stage 2, however, saw BOOM fail to secure a single series win. Even so, their strong Stage 1 run gave them enough points to return to Ascension Pacific instead of being directly relegated to Challengers.

With Dastan “dos9” Zhumagali departing and BOOM preparing for Ascension, the team brought in RRQ Academy’s Jonathan “naTz” Adiputra and added Filipino duelist Michael “whitecat” Yuzon on loan from Team Secret Academy, opting not to field famouz for their campaign. Unfortunately, BOOM’s campaign ended with a third-place finish, sending them back to Challengers for the next season.
BOOM Esports currently have:
- Rizkie “BerserX” Adla Kusuma
- Hildegard “Shiro” Arnaldo
- Sheldon “NcSlasher” Andersen
- Jonathan “naTz” Adiputra
