WsLeo and Lysoar are the two new additions to XLG for 2026.
CHINA – Xi Lai Gaming (XLG) have officially added Huang “WsLeo” Ping-wei to their 2026 roster, signing the player from Thunder Gaming. The organization also confirmed that Aleksandr “hvoya” Eremin will continue as head coach, extending his tenure with the Ascension-qualified squad into the new season.
WsLeo is a relatively fresh face in the VALORANT scene, making his first appearance in the 2022 HK/TW APAC circuit with Five Ace e-Sports, followed by stint with UTT Esports and Anti Eco Eco Club in 2023.
Later that year, he transitioned to the CN circuit, joining Four Angry Men alongside now-Global Esports player Go “UdoTan” Kyung-won, and later moving to LGD Gaming. Despite limited results in CN Evolution Series, he returned to 4AM for VCT Ascension CN 2023, where the team earned only a single win over 17Gaming while falling to Attacking Soul Esports and eventual champions Dragon Ranger Gaming.

After nearly two years off the VLR officials radar, WsLeo re-emerged with Thunder Gaming in Ascension CN, delivering standout individual showings. He top-fragged for his team against Dragon Ranger Gaming and Octagonal Disposition Gaming, posting positive kill-death numbers in both losses.
Primarily playing a flex role, WsLeo is seen as a notable firepower upgrade for Xi Lai Gaming heading into 2026. He joins another new addition, Liang “Lysoar” Youhao from Wolves Esports, who has also impressed individually on the regional stage.
XLG enter the 2026 season on the back of a strong year that included winning the VCT CN Stage 1 title and qualifying for two international events. Whether the team will operate with a six-man roster or announce a departure remains to be seen.
Xi Lai Gaming currently have:
- Arthur “Rarga” Churyumov
- Teng “happywei” Min-wei
- Colin “coconut” Chung
- James “NoMan” Man
- Liang “Lysoar” Youhao
- Huang “WsLeo” Ping-wei
- Aleksandr “hvoya” Eremin (Coach)
