Former Shenzhen NTER player Yang “B3Ar” Zhanxiong completes Bilibili Gaming’s roster.
CHINA – Bilibili Gaming have completed the signing of Yang “B3Ar” Zhanxiong (杨瞻雄) from Shenzhen NTER.
The confirmation of B3Ar as the new Controller and IGL for Bilibili Gaming became official after his presence at the team’s training session just last week. Furthermore, Li “rin” Lewei’s absence, who was also a main Controller player for BLG in the past, has fueled speculation within the CN VALORANT community about his potential departure.
B3Ar links up with Bilibili Gaming after spending the previous two seasons with Shenzhen NTER alongside the likes of current Ninjas in Pyjamas members Liu “Spring” Chn-ting and Yang “Eren” Cengwei. Despite displaying considerable potential during the 2022 season, NTER mostly acted as the gatekeeper team for CN’s upper echelons in the following season, ultimately falling short of reaching any main events in the China Evolution Series.

BLG are banking on the addition of a new IGL to bring stability to the team after a challenging period that saw them from being at the forefront of the scene making the top eight of VALORANT Champions Los Angeles to ultimately landing at the bottom in the recent China Evolution Series Act 3 without coach Wang “JeXeN” Linxiao.
With the move, Liu “Knight” Yuxiang will be relieved of his IGL responsibilities, a role he took over from Zhong “Biank” Jianfei in recent times after their Los Angeles campaign. B3Ar’s move also involves a transition from his former role as an Initiator to a Controller, a position that was previously held by rin and occasionally by Viper player Wang “yosemite” Lei.
B3Ar will make his first appearance for Bilibili Gaming in late February for the inaugural VCT CN season.
