Two of Challengers South Asia’s top players from Revenant Esports, dos9 and sultan, have hit the market as restricted free agents.
KAZAKHSTAN – Dastan “dos9” Zhumagali and Sultan “sultan” Akbay have announced their restricted free agent status from India’s Revenant Esports and are looking for options going into the next season. This news comes just a day after VCT Ascension Pacific concluded, where the Indian-Kazakh team finished in 7th-8th place after defeating Rapid Lofi but falling to Sin Prisa Gaming and Disguised.
dos9 and sultan were standout performers for Revenant Esports, significantly outshining their teammates as two of the highest-rated players. Their dominance in the South Asia Challengers circuit secured the team’s spot at Ascension Pacific Jakarta. The duo also ranked among the highest in the VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 2 tournament, boasting VLR ratings of 1.41 and 1.24, respectively.

Their departure will undoubtedly deal a heavy blow to Revenant Esports’ firepower if the organization continues with the remaining lineup going into the OFF//SEASON and next year.
Meanwhile, Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar has hinted at uncertainty in his future after their elimination from Jakarta, saying he will need to reconsider the next steps in his career.
On Twitter, dos9 noted that he is “able to relocate”, while sultan mentioned that he is “ready to sacrifice everything for victory”.
