The Filipino-Vietnamese squad has found a new home after parting ways with ALPHA Esports Pro last week.
PHILIPPINES – After less than a week on the lookout for a new home, the former ALPHA Esports Pro lineup has reached an agreement with L Streak Esports, an Indian organization that was looking to break into the Southeast Asian VALORANT scene.
ALPHA Esports Pro’s core roster first came together in April 2021, qualifying for nearly all of the main events of VCT Philippines since then, but has never come close to lifting the trophy. Moving to 2022, the team had several changes to the lineup and quickly found swift success as they placed second in the AXE Genesis Tournament and, most importantly, qualified for the VCT Philippines Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs with victories over NAOS Esports, Bren Esports, Oasis Gaming, and Team Secret in the group stage, but shortly afterwards Ryu “AreyouRyu” Torres and Gian “GianSanity” Abilla departed the roster.

With Troy “Yort” Hiramia and former Team Big BAAM player Phạm “d0rf” Huỳnh Toàn Quốc enlisted as replacements, the team went on to snatch second place in the BLEED Summer Open tournament by taking down the likes of NAOS Esports twice and No Namers before losing to eventual champions Gaimin Gladiators twice in the upper bracket final and grand final.
The move signals L Streak Esports’ second venture into the Southeast Asian VALORANT scene after making their first step in the region with a Thai Game Changers roster.
The organization will still field its South Asian roster moving forward. However, L Streak Esports will be able to only feature one team in the VALORANT Champions Tour circuit as per the Concurrent Ownership policy, prohibiting ownership or control of, or undue influence over, more than one team that competes in the VALORANT Champions Tour, except for female teams as the secondary team, as seen in Alter Ego and Alter Ego Celeste, and other cases.
Enrico “Ching” Perez and co. have no events lined up following the end of their VCT Stage 2 Challengers run. However, the team is expected to make their debut during the off-season
L Streak Esports SEA’s roster is as follows:
- 🇵🇭 Enrico “Ching” Perez
- 🇵🇭 Troy “Yort” Hiramia
- 🇵🇭 Christian “ChrisM” Rosquillo
- 🇻🇳 Phạm “d0rf” Huỳnh Toàn Quốc
- 🇻🇳 Phan “gin” Văn Gin
