hffmi0dzjc9z7 makes a move to TYLOO to remain within the tier-one scene of China.
CHINA – TYLOO have announced the addition of Zhang “hfmi0dzjc9z7” Juncheng (张峻程) as the team’s latest member from Attacking Soul Esports.
“Making his debut on the world stage, player hfmi0dzjc9z7 has already shown a glimpse of his great potential with his amazing performance in the CN Evolution Series. This shy young man, who has made a name for himself in various competitions, will now join TYLOO to boldly embark on a new journey with dreams in their hearts. Welcome to TYLOO, player hfmi0dzjc9z7!” the announcement reads.
Known by aliases such as the Alphabet Brother or hfmi, the 22-year-old makes the move to the renowned TYLOO organization after having been part of Attacking Soul Esports since August 2021. The team maintained a consistent presence in the upper tiers of CN VALORANT which led to their international debut at VALORANT Masters Tokyo in June last year. Their victory in the FGC VALORANT Invitational Act I event over regional powerhouse EDward Gaming positioned them as China’s first seed in Tokyo, where he emerged as the team’s second-highest-rated player, standing just behind Life.
Unfortunately, this period of good form proved to be short-lived for Attacking Soul Esports. The recent addition of hfmi0dzjc9z7 to TYLOO doesn’t come as a surprise, given that ASE failed to secure a spot in the partnership program for the VCT CN League, as announced in December. Additionally, their third-place finish in Ascension did not grant them temporary qualification either.
As the fifth-ranked team in the CN Evolution Series circuit table, coupled with their international experience at the aforementioned VALORANT Masters Tokyo, it makes logical sense that various VCT CN teams, particularly those without a complete roster and those aiming to enhance their firepower, would target players from ASE including hfmi0dzjc9z7.
Following in the footsteps of Qu “Life” Donghao who is now with FPX, hfmi0dzjc9z7 is the second player from ASE to make a move to the VCT CN League. This suggests that more players from ASE might follow suit and join other teams set to compete in the tier-one VCT CN League.
TYLOO’s recent move comes as the organization attempts to replicate its success in Valve’s FPS as China’s frontrunner. However, it still leaves uncertainty about which player will make way for hfmi0dzjc9z7, as TYLOO had previously showcased the signatures of five players in their partnership announcement video, with the exception of An “sorrymybad” Ziwen, leaving room for speculation about the final composition of the roster.
With the addition of hfmi0dzjc9z7, TYLOO now have:
- 🇨🇳 Sun “SLOWLY” Kelun (孙科伦)
- 🇨🇳 Yi “ninebody” Ding (丁毅)
- 🇨🇳 Zhang “LuoK1ng” Zhanpeng (张展鹏)
- 🇨🇳 Cheng “ICEKING” Wanpeng (程万鹏)
- 🇨🇳 Shi “AAK” Yekai (施叶凯)
- 🇨🇳 An “sorrymybad” Ziwen (安梓文)
- 🇨🇳 Zhang “hfmi0dzjc9z7” Juncheng (张峻程)
- 🇨🇳 Zheng “Yiyee” Jiayi (郑佳毅) (Coach)
