George “Georggyyy” Lachica and Philip “Aryu” Vergara have found a new home a month after parting ways with Action PH.
PHILIPPINES – George “Georggyyy” Lachica and Philip “Aryu” Vergara was on Sunday unveiled as the first two members of the roster that is being put together by Cebu-based Lionne Esports. The Filipino pair were part of the Action PH lineup that placed third in VCT Philippines Stage 1 Challengers and seventh in the subsequent stage.
Georggyyy has had strong performances in all of the sub-regional VCT tournaments throughout the year with a 264.4 ACS in VCT Philippines Stage 1 Challengers (highest-rated player), as well as a 272.6 ACS in VCT Philippines Stage 2 Challengers despite suffering an early exit from the tournament. Meanwhile, Aryu, who was mostly known as the tactician of Action PH, will rejoin his former teammate on the server and is expected to take the reins once again.
The remaining Lionne Esports players have not yet been announced, although it is anticipated that they will be in the following days.
