Former Global Esports duo Peter “Spin” Bradford and Benedict “Benkai” Tan have been added to Motiv Esports’ backroom team for the VALORANT Challengers SEA circuit.
SINGAPORE – Motiv Esports have officially brought on Peter “Spin” Bradford and Benedict “Benkai” Tan as part of their coaching team, the organization announced on Friday.
The two reunite after previously working together at Global Esports and now join the Singaporean side fresh off their victory in the 2025 VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 2, where they defeated NAOS Esports 3-1 in the grand final.
This marks a return to the professional scene for Benkai, who has been inactive since his stint with Global Esports in 2024 for VCT Pacific.

While his time with GE didn’t leave a lasting mark, Benkai remains widely remembered for his successful run with Paper Rex in 2022, a year with multiple regional titles and a runner-up finish at VALORANT Masters Copenhagen. He had previously expressed a desire to move into coaching and saw the assistant coach role as the ideal starting point to learn and grow in this new chapter.
Taking on the role of head coach is Spin, who had previously coached Benkai at Global Esports. The 34-year-old spent two seasons with GE (2023-2024) before moving to DVM in France’s VALORANT Challengers circuit, where he helped the team reach the quarterfinals in both Stage 1 and 2.
“I’m pleased to announce I’m working with this talented roster. I began working with them on a trial basis for the Split 2 playoff run, and it felt good to get the win. Here’s to many more!” Spin wrote on social media following the announcement.

These additions mark the first time Motiv Esports will have coaching staff since the departure of Alexander “alexRr” Frisch at the end of Split 1, when they were still under the non-backed KIMMY KITTENS banner.
The team now looks ahead to VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 3, where they’ve already secured a main event slot following their Split 2 triumph — the final push in their campaign to qualify for VCT Ascension Pacific 2025.
Motiv Esports now have:
- 🇸🇬 Tidus “STYRON” Goh
- 🇸🇬 Rodman “Vera” Yap
- 🇸🇬 Wayne “wayne” Chang
- 🇸🇬 Henri “Flaring” Forichon
- 🇹🇭 Panyawat “sushiboys” Subsiriroj
- 🇬🇧 Peter “Spin” Bradford (Head coach)
- 🇸🇬 Benedict “Benkai” Tan (Assistant coach)
