VCT is rife with some memorable moments, and VALORANT Masters Tokyo gave us one to remember, now etched into the game itself.
INDONESIA – VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) is rife with some memorable moments, and it’s always fascinating to see how they can be immortalized within the game itself. The “VCT Push Up Card” player card is a great example of this, capturing a unique celebratory moment from the VALORANT Masters Tokyo event held in June last year.
The player card pays tribute to the unique and remarkable celebration started by three renowned Indonesian casters collectively known as the ‘SJW’ group—comprising Antonius “Son” Willson, Jamal “Jamalismcast” Hasbi, and Lukas “Kocul” Yanto—who traveled to Japan for a firsthand experience of the event.
The unforgettable moment unfolded as the 2023 VCT Pacific champions, Paper Rex, engaged in an intense matchup against Evil Geniuses during the VALORANT Masters Tokyo lower final match.

With a sign that promised “PRX WINS 1 ROUND = 10 PUSH-UPS,” these casters turned the Makuhari Messe arena into their on-the-spot bodyweight exercise haven. For each hard-earned round secured by Paper Rex, SJW committed to ten push-ups, resulting in them completing over 400 push-ups. Fast forward to the present, and this unforgettable moment has found its way into the fabric of the game itself through the introduction of the “VCT Push Up Card,” turning it into a symbol of unity and celebration within the VALORANT Esports community.
The celebration has been followed halfway across the world, with the Americas region pulling off a similar action during the break in the VCT Americas KICKOFF Grand Finals between Sentinels and LOUD.
The player card drop will be available during the VALORANT Masters Madrid Grand Finals on March 24.
