Felipe “skye” Lim has joined MLT Esports and will be taking on the head coaching role.
INDIA – Felipe “skye” Lim takes the helm as the head coach of MLT Esports, reuniting with four players he worked with in Orangutan from July 2022 until their move together to the Bangladesh-based organization.
Taking a step up from his previous analyst role in Orangutan, the Singaporean will shoulder more responsibility after contributing to the team’s victories in last year’s VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 1 and 2, as well as their presence at VCT Ascension Pacific, now under a new banner.
Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose, Akram “Rawfiul” Virani, and Azis “azys” Nandang are the remaining members from OG’s Bangkok campaign. Meanwhile, Rafi “frostmind” Diandra only joined more recently in October but has been together long enough to lift two trophies during OFF//SEASON in the TEC Challenger Series 10 and Predator League India.
Prior to taking on an analyst role with the Indian organization, skye was a former player and in-game leader of No Namers who represented the MY/SG region in the 2022 VCT APAC Stage 1 Challengers.

“I am excited to return to the South Asian scene,” skye said in a statement to VALO2ASIA. The addition of skye is the latest in a line of large pickups for MLT Esports following the inclusion of former Orangutan quartet, former True Rippers member Saaransh “Whimp” Dang, and former Aster Army player Soumyadeep “DOXZ3RRR” Dey. Furthermore, Anas “traNz” Ayub has returned to the organization whose male and female roster he coached in the past, but now as a substitute.
“[I’ve] always enjoyed interacting with the community and the other teams. I cannot wait to showcase what our team is capable of with the addition of frostmind, Whimp, and DOXZ3RRR in this coming season.”
skye’s first major task as MLT’s coach will be to prepare the squad for their upcoming appearance in VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 1, which takes place from February 1 to March 10.
