SOOP VALORANT League (SVL) 2025 kicks off on December 2 with the first round of group stage.
SOUTH KOREA – SOOP has officially released the complete schedule and first-round matchups for the SOOP VALORANT League (SVL) 2025, which will be held in Seoul from December 2 to 7. The event brings together eight teams from across the Pacific and EMEA regions, all vying for a share of the US$80,000 prize pool and an early statement heading into the 2026 season.
SVL 2025 will begin with a group stage featuring two groups of four teams each, played in a double-elimination format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, where the competition shifts to a single-elimination bracket, closing out with a best-of-five grand final awarding US$25,000 to the champions.
The first-round matchups offer plenty of storylines. FNATIC, the highest-ranked team in the event and the lone EMEA representative, open their run against FULL SENSE in what many view as a heavy David-versus-Goliath pairing. FNATIC will be showcasing their new addition, Sylvain “Veqaj” Pattyn, who recently replaced Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov. Veqaj already made his initial appearance at Red Bull Home Ground 2025.

FULL SENSE will arrive in Seoul with momentum, having won the SVL SEA Qualifier alongside Predator League Thailand 2026. Although their Ascension Pacific Bangkok run ended early with a 7-8th finish, the Thai squad had the experience of competing internationally at the 2023 SVL event under its previous AfreecaTV VALORANT League branding.
T1 will get another shot at ZETA DIVISION, reigniting a matchup that last took place during the Home Ground event at the INSPIRE Arena in July. Both teams are expected to come in with fresh looks, especially with ZETA still in the process of finalizing their 2026 roster.
Meanwhile, DRX will take on SLT Seongnam in a much-anticipated Korean derby. For SLT, this will be their first-ever match against a VCT partner team after winning Ascension.
Another highlight is the long-running rivalry between RRQ and Gen.G, who will meet once again for the sixth time this year and twelfth overall. With Gen.G yet to reveal their complete new lineup, SVL may double as the debut of their revamped squad for the upcoming season.
