Vietnamese rising star Nguyễn “n1zzy” Tấn Thành is making his return to the competitive scene, joining Team Secret Academy for VALORANT Challengers SEA.
PHILIPPINES — Team Secret have officially welcomed Nguyễn “n1zzy” Tấn Thành to their academy lineup. The former Fancy United standout returns to professional play after stepping away following the 2023 VCT Ascension Pacific to focus on his studies in North America.
With his signing, Team Secret Academy now features three Vietnamese players: Tạ “Pr0digy” Phương Duy, Nguyễn “Viness” Trung Tín, and now n1zzy.
n1zzy puts pen to paper with Team Secret Academy after spending most of his career representing top Vietnamese squads such as EGO, DivisionX Gaming, Unbeaten Esports, and Fancy United Esports. His last run in 2023 was the highlight of his career so far, with Fancy United dominating the domestic scene by winning both VALORANT Challengers Vietnam Split 1 and 2.

In Split 2, he was the tournament’s highest-rated player with a 1.36 VLR rating while showcasing his flexibility across seven different agents. That stellar run also earned the team a spot at the 2023 VCT Ascension Pacific in Bangkok, where they eventually placed 5th-6th.
Individually, n1zzy held his own against some of the top-performing players from the event—many of whom have since broken into the tier-one scene—including Federico “Papi” Evangelista, Maksim “Jemkin” Batorov, Tyler “juicy” Aeria, and Savva “Kr1stal” Fedorov.
Team Secret Academy will be counting on n1zzy’s return to spark a turnaround in form. Since Split 1, the team’s only victory came via forfeit against Oblvion Force.

Team Secret Academy now have:
