Another collection will hit the VALORANT store soon to commemorate the start of VCT LOCK//IN.
SINGAPORE – Riot Games is set to introduce the VCT LOCK//IN Capsule that will be on sale between February 8 and March 7. Items will not return to the Store or Night Market and will be available as a single bundle.
The Los Angeles-based publisher added that 50% of the revenue from the capsule collection will be distributed evenly among the thirty partnered teams.
The new collection features a misericórdia knife with four variants, three player cards, and a VAMOS spray — a Brazilian phrase popularized by DRX’s Kim “stax” Gu-taek at Champions 2022. Each knife variant and player card represents an international league, such as the Pacific with blue, EMEA with purple, and Americas with green, as well as red to represent the VALORANT Champions Tour colorway. These colors were inspired by agents that hail from the regions, according to the release.
The knife uses the Xenohunter knife animations, has colored swipes based on the variant, and the ‘top frag aura’ that glows when the player has the most kills in a game, similar to the 2021 and 2022 Champions collections.
