The VCT CN League teams enjoyed a lively week at the Winter Camp leading up to the start of the Spring Festival and the inaugural season of the league.
CHINA – As we near the inaugural season of VCT CN, which is the fourth International League of VALORANT, all eleven competing teams convened in the last week of January for a five-day winter camp and the first-ever all-players conference (VCT CN 职业生态冬令营暨首届全体选手大会).
During the event, ten long-term partners and one guest Ascension team came together to engage in team-building activities, fun games, league briefings, and various other activities.

VCT CN Winter Camp | Day One Recap
The opening ceremony kicked things off to set the tone for the day, followed by officials delivering speeches and players tackling quizzes, adding a bit of friendly competition to the mix. Team camping and DIY picnic activities rounded out the day in a lively and joyful atmosphere, ending the winter camp’s initial day on an exciting note.

Players stuck to their not-so-typical “early bird” routine, kicking off the day with some lively aerobics and quick warm-ups. Then came the tests for flexibility, agility, and posture. The afternoon was a blast with archery, kayaking, and real-life FPS games. After all the outdoor fun, the second day of winter camp wrapped up with some friendly competition and an in-class test.

The morning started with some warm-ups and a group cycling session. After grabbing lunch, players hit the frisbee field for some fun activities. In the afternoon, the schedule kept rolling with archery, kayaking, and real-life FPS games taking turns.
The day’s rundown was all about giving players and coaches the lowdown on the 2024 schedule, competition format, and rules. This way, everyone’s on the same page and ready for the competition. There was also a surprise pop quiz thrown in for good measure.

After the morning aerobics and warm-up sessions, the players went through various tests and recovery tweaks. It’s important for those often glued to their computer screens to be mindful of potential injuries. In the afternoon, archery, kayaking, and real-life FPS games kept the excitement rolling. The fourth evening was set for everyone to kick back and enjoy some free time—board games, chatting, and other leisure activities.

After the morning warm-ups and physical tests, the VCT CN Winter Camp wrapped up its final day.
In this winter camp, Dragon Ranger Gaming claimed the top spot in overall group activities, earning the title of “Ace Team”, while FunPlus Phoenix secured first place in team spirit and was honored with the “Uplifting Beacon” award.
As for the “Ace Elites” who ranked in the top five in the in-class tests during the event, namely Wang “Monk” Haoyu (All Gamers), Liu “3water” Miao (Titan Esports Club) Sun “slowly” Kelun (TYLOO), Deng “NaThanD” Senqiao (FunPlus Phoenix) Guang “GuanG” Honglin (Nova Esports), each received a figurine.
