The departures of Francis “Rabbet” Danison Buñag and Vince “Flash” Medado leave Kelly “kellyS” Sedillo as the only member from the original RRQ PH roster.
PHILIPPINES – Francis “Rabbet” Danison Buñag had been on RRQ’s books since the creation of the Filipino roster in January, joining alongside Vince “Flash” Medado, Kelly “kellyS” Sedillo, and three other players.
While with RRQ PH, the pair helped the team to reach a handful of big events, particularly after changes that were made two months into the year, most notably VCT Philippines Stage 2 Challengers and VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers. The latter became Rabbet’s and Flash’s final appearances for the yellow and black banner, where the team came in 9-12th place after losing to XERXIA Esports and Alter Ego in the double-elimination group stage.
They are now looking for individual offers as free agents and are eager to find a new banner where they can ply their trade. Interested parties can reach the players on:
- Rabbet: (Facebook: Rabbet, Twitter: @rabbetfps)
- Flash: (Twitter: @flashvalph)
RRQ are not in a rush to find a replacement – or maybe two if they are hoping to maintain their six-man roster composition in place – since they have no events lined up on their schedule for now. With the completion of their VCT 2022 campaign, the squad will only play in third-party tournaments for the remainder of the year.
With the duo’s departure, RRQ now have:
- 🇵🇭 Jed “Draxiimov” Jamir
- 🇵🇭 Nathaniel “Nexi” Cabero
- 🇵🇭 James “2ge” Goopio
- 🇵🇭 Kelly “kellyS” Sedillo
- 🇵🇭 Jose “Rbtx” Jamir (Coach)
