The showmatch is set to kickstart the last day of 2023’s first international VALORANT tournament, VCT LOCK//IN.
BRAZIL – Riot Games has announced a special showmatch taking place before the start of the VCT LOCK//IN grand final at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera arena. The showmatch will feature some of the biggest names in the VALORANT community playing in a best-of-one series and will showcase the game’s brand-new Agent 22. The map on which the game will be played and full lineups for both teams have not been announced.
The lineups for the showmatch teams are set to include some of the most popular content creators and professional players in the VALORANT community. On one side of the server, we have the duo of Tarik “tarik” Celik and Michaela “mimi” Lintrup.

Tarik is a former Counter-Strike Major champion and popular Twitch streamer, who retired from professional play in 2020 to focus on content creation. Some of tarik’s most noteworthy accomplishments were competing under various banners such as CLG, OpTic Gaming, Cloud9, and Made in Brazil throughout his illustrious professional career. The ELEAGUE Major MVP made the decision to transition to a full-time streaming career in 2020, ultimately bringing his professional gaming days to a close while playing for Evil Geniuses.
mimi also boasts an impressive resume, having competed at the highest level of female Counter-Strike and VALORANT for several years. She recently clinched the highly coveted first-ever Game Changers championship title while playing for G2 Gozen, solidifying her status as one of the top female players in the title.
On the other side of the server, the showmatch will have Jean “FRTTT” Bianchi and Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar. FRTTT is a well-known content creator in the Brazilian VALORANT community, while SkRossi is a rising star in the VALORANT scene competing for India’s Global Esports since 2020.
Team captains Tarik and FRTTT will both play the new VALORANT agent before the grand final of the US$500,000 tournament begins.
