DRX reinforce their talent pool with another emerging player from South Korea.
SOUTH KOREA – DRX have secured the signing of yet another up-and-coming youngster, Kim “ZynX” Dong-ha to join their Prospects roster.
At the age of 16, ZynX marks the first addition to the DRX Prospects this year, filling the roster left by the departure of Kang “BeYN” Ha-bin and Kim “miKa” Jae-ryun to All Gamers on loan. Meanwhile, Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk has been promoted to participate in the main VCT Pacific roster for the upcoming season after being called up in the OFF//SEASON.
DRX Prospects serves as the first point of contact for DRX to nurture up-and-coming players identified through their scouting efforts. ZynX’s performances in competitive ranked play caught the eye of DRX, who see plenty of potential in the youngster. Despite being an unknown figure in the scene without any recorded official history, ZynX recently achieved a peak rank of Radiant in Episode 7 Act 3.

ZynX will be joining forces with the likes of Yoon “Flicker” Tae-Hee and Na “Leviathan” Ha-Jun, both of whom joined the team last year, as well as coach Ye “Anaks” Sang-jun. Whether ZynX will make his professional debut this season under a different banner, remains to be seen, given that he recently met the age requirement of 16 for Challengers, whereas the tier-one league requires players to be at least 18 or in other words two more seasons from now.
