Indonesian team BOOM Esports have announced the acquisition of former TEAMnxl> player Saibani “fl1pzjder” Rahmat.
The news comes after it was revealed that TEAMnxl> members, including fl1pzjder, did not renew their contracts with the organization starting from May.
Under the TEAMnxl> banner, he helped them to win First Strike Indonesia, VCT Stage 1 Challengers 2, and VCT Stage 2 Challengers 2, as well as numerous playoffs standings.
This will be fl1pzjder’s second appearance with the BOOM Esports jersey. In July 2019, the 21-year-old joined BOOM Esports CS:GO division with Baskoro Dwi “roseau” Putra. However, his stay was cut short. He was pulled from the active lineup due to internal problems within the team.
Saibani will be joined on the new roster by three notable former CS:GO players: Nanda “Asteriskk” Rizana, Gary “blaZek1ng” Dastin, and Kevin “Eeyore” Gunawan. He replaces his former teammates in BOOM Esports CS:GO, Adrian “adrnk1ng” Setiawan who joins Rex Regum Qeon in early June of this year.
The VALO2ASIA Launch Invitational will be the team’s first test with their new addition, pitting them against three of Southeast Asia’s top teams: Bren Esports, FULL SENSE, and Paper Rex. More details about the invitational may be found here.
